SFBAPPA's March PhotoNight on Thursday, March 3 at the San Francisco Exposure Gallery with five local photographers who covered the tsunami. Each photographer will show their work and discuss what it was like covering this disaster and comparing it to their experiences covering other natural disasters. They will also be sharing information on how to be prepared covering future disasters. Panelists: Jack Gruber, USA Today Ken Kobre, San Francisco State University professor of photojournalism Fred Larson, San Francisco Chronicle Pauline Lubens, San Jose Mercury News Omar Vega, San Francisco State University student Omar will also talk about his arrest on campus and his first amendment rights as a photographer.
