Hanukkah party at Bubby and Zadie’s house
 

The first night of Hanukkah at Bubby and Zadie’s house. After using plenty of aluminum foil to protect the new kitchen from oil,  Zadie made Latkes… mmmmmm.  Alex got a cool teepee from Daddy’s Uncle David. But, he couldn’t stop staring at Emily’s new light-up faux fish tank.

We arrived at the hospital around 11pm and she was born at 12:08am. By the time we were in the delivery room Katie was too far in to labor to get an epidural and had to bear the pain.

Father’s Day. We spent a long day watching the Angels beat the Dodgers 10-4 in Los Angeles and then Alex fell asleep in his hat.

We took Alex to The Big A (Angels Stadium) to watch them beat the White Sox in extra innings.

As Katie gets wheeled from the birthing suite to her room while Jeff, and the rest of the family, go to the nursery to see the baby get examined.
