This is what happens when you cross a techno dad and a nerdy mom
The first visit to the photo studio. Alex behaved well..after he peed on the backdrop.
Even though Alex is sporting bunny ears, he gets no candy!
Alex hangs out with mom, his aunts and cousin Timothy in his Easter outfit from Aunt Christine
Alex rests up, while cousin Timothy hams it up with Uncle David.
Alex is all smiles in his Matzo shirt for his first Seder at Bubby and Zadie’s… and NO, we didn’t feed him any.
Alex rests on a new blanket from his future girlfriend, Maxine Penn Russell.
Feeling nice and sleeping after a feeding. We decided this was a good time for a bath
That sleepy feeling didn’t last long…
But Alex was giving a happy wave at the end of his bath in a hoodie towel from his Aunt Christine
After waking up crying at 3 am – yet refusing to eat – Alex finally gets to sleep…at 4 pm.. YES, PM!! Mommy finally gets a shower and daddy gets something to eat. This was our worst day so far.
The second full day with Alex. Katie and Jeff take turns napping, and bonding, at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
Alex seems pretty happy. He is working on his breastfeeding merit badge and hopefully he will be walking by the end of the week.
Does Alex look like Jeff ? – you decide.
On the left is Jeff on May 31, 1969, in Park Ridge Ill. On the right is Alex on April 3, 2006, in Long Beach, Calif.
At only 18 hours old Alex is wide awake and ready for his close-up
